Crocodile Hunter … Deceased

Filed under: Rambling — fujinitsuki @ 1:08 pm

Pre-lunch conversation with co-worker

A: Oh no! The Crocodile Hunter is killed!

Me: By Crocodiles?!

A: lol, no, by Stingray?

Me: ??

A: He was diving off Gold Coast, Great Barrier Reef.

And I found out Steve Irwin, after cheating death for many times, died during a diving expedition from reports on Channel News Asia and BBC News.

I’m not a big fan, but it does seem to me, he’s considered quite a character afterall.

  2. It’s shocking still. He was such an icon on television. I watched an episode of his show before.

  3. Methinks his death is kinda an ironic end to a stellar career that is marked by close brushes
with death dealing with dangerous species such as the ferocious crocodile. It’s weird how life
works out in the end, isn’t it?

  4. Interesting, how this simple post was picked up by blog spider,
Tailrank, possibly owing to the overwhelming popularity of Steve
Irwin and not forgetting support from my fellow blog mates, Mr Dew and
    sneakyniki :).

  5. Tailrank picks up lots of posts. It picks up some of the posts I am least proud of – namely videos and silly commentary. Well, Tailrank is pretty useful as a tool though.
